Master Trainer (Boss Man)

I’m Mike McCauley, boss of Mint, and not your average trainer. I’m part coach, part strategist, part wellness architect, crafting programs that actually work for real people, with real lives, and sometimes real injuries.

Mint isn’t just a place to train — it’s a boutique sanctuary for the stay-fit crew, the mission-driven lifers, the wellness warriors, and those who know that feeling Mint means living more.

Blending strength and recovery, Pilates and programming, all with a clarity that makes fitness less intimidating and more… doable.

I have got an eye for design, a love for structure, and a heart for helping people Feel Mint so they can Live More. From personalised training to pilates-modified plans for people with injuries, my programs are as intentional as my Mint brand.

I make strength relatable, boutique cool, and wellness a lifestyle, not a luxury.

My passion with food and its performance attributes, as well as it ability to heal the body has been the cornerstone of my nutrition practice.

I have continued to maintain general clinic practice as my schedule allows with the majority of my time currently devoted to performance athletes, research & development relating to body composition assessment. As a Qualified Clinical Nutritionist & Medical Herbalist I have maintained clinical practice since 1989 and started working with athletes in 2003.

My specialist area’s of knowledge & interest include; sports nutrition & the modalities of nutri genomics / epigenetics & the influence of both on improving human health.

The ketogenic programme has been a firm favorite and has shown good results among my athletes and clients.

My name is Uther, I am new to the Mint team and ready to deliver an evidence based training approach with new flare and enthusiasm. I want for every individual to feel that they are welcome and included in the fitness space, regardless of their experience and background.

Training is a central pillar of my life and wellbeing. I have been battling Cystic Fibrosis, a chronic respiratory health condition for the last 28 years, so each and every day getting out there and putting in the mahi is essential to my health. Being able to help those around me achieve both their fitness, health, and performance goals is what drives me to be the best trainer I can be. I come from a diverse background and have trained across multiple fields including martial arts, powerlifting, aerial skills, and yoga, which I have been practicing for 4 years now. I am ready to put all of that to use to give you the best training for the best results.

Hi everyone!

My name is Steven and I’m a 38-year-old Personal Trainer and Boxing Coach from Spreydon, Christchurch. Thanks for welcoming me to the Mint team!

I’m passionate about boxing and have been training for 10 years now. In 2021 I retrained as a PT after a 17-year career in corporate sales with MYOB and Spark. I’ve survived cancer, undergone a total hip replacement at 34 years old, and successfully rehabbed with extensive physio, yoga and personal training to be training regularly again.

When I’m not training, you’ll catch me spending downtime with my wife Casey or walking our dog through the Canterbury hills. We love going to see Red Devils Ice-Hockey and Rams Basketball in the winter and hitting the beach through the summer.
