The term ‘cross-training’ describes the use of a range of different exercise methods rather than just one. It’s the idea that a combination of workouts gives you a more rounded level of fitness. Constantly changing the type of exercises that you do means that you are working every single part of your body and can help you reach your fitness goals quickly.
Our clients train to get stronger, perform better, move more efficiently, avoid and recover from injury. We don’t do anything mind blowing – we will work on alignment and mobility, then once your movements are cleaned up, we will train to get you stronger in some basic lifts whilst cutting out the junk from your nutrition.
If you are new to resistance exercise this is our two-step approach
1. Build the fundamental bodyweight movement patterns
2. Add resistance
Your training regime may vary depending on your likes and skill levels but will always incorporate a minimum of 2 days lifting per week, with a 1-2 grid classes per week and an active recovery low intensity ‘fuel burning’ session.
If you want to really make a change add in our one of our nutrition plans. This will turbo charge your results by working towards a sensible, 90% ‘clean’ rule, leaving room for a few treats and cheats.
