It might be a quick trip to the next town over for a business conference or a massive adventure halfway around the world for weeks at a time. No matter what kind of trip it is, one thing is certain. We need to keep that exercise up.
The following are some great examples of ways we can keep exercising while away.
If you’re at the beach you could run really hard for 20 seconds then jog very slowly for 20 seconds, then repeat until six minutes is up (warm up first). Get down and do six minutes of core work – a mixture of strength, stability and power exercises – then get up and do another six minutes of on-off running. If you run flat out when you’re supposed to, your heart rate will tell you about it. Then dive into the sea. Bliss.
Try pool running. Great when it’s too hot to run, And it’s efficient. You can do some intervals, like high-intensity bursts and some strides. But make sure you’ve got sun block on.
Hotel Room Workout
If you are one of the unlucky ones who don’t have a gym in their hotel, never fear bodyweight exercises are here!
You won’t need any exercise equipment but you will need a little bit of space in your hotel room. A great example is to pick six
bodyweight exercises – 3 cardio based exercises and 3 strength based exercises.

Some other easy options are;
-Take a skipping rope or an exercise band with you, take it out of the suitcase and use it.
-Some active activities to explore local areas; Watersports, skiing, lots of walking.
